The STD World of Resources Network (SWORN) is dedicated to breaking the silence of STDs and changing the world's perceptions of STDs. Real talk for today's real world. A website run by those who also share having an STD so you will know that we do understand. We have walked the walk and are right there with you!
We are committed to the possibility of:
- Being able to speak openly about your STDs
- Education by those who have the viruses as well as leading authorities to the general public, celebrities, and athletes.
- Social & Help groups in every city & country
- Funding for those groups to grow in numbers and have the tools needed to do their role in our communities
- Funding for computers for those without them
- Providing information that parents can use to educate their children about STDs
- Advertisements making the words HERPES, HPV, HIV, HEP C, STDs a constant in the world
- Becoming an authority and resource for the media when it comes to reporting on issues related to STDs
- Celebrities & Athletes sharing their STD stories
- Peace and acceptance for STDs and for those with the STDs.
Through our actions, we will provide real life education and the prevention of further transmissions. Most importantly, we will provide healing for all those who are living in silence with their STDs so they may have a voice in today's world!
Organizational status
The STD World of Resources Network, Inc (SWORN) is incorporated in California and has been granted non-profit 501(c)(3)status as of September 12, 2002.
Charitable grants and donations are also planned to fund SWORN activities.
